- 275 g self raising flour
- 75 g Cadbury Bournville Cocoa
- 2.5 tsp of baking powder
- 250 g caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 300 ml buttermilk
- 55 g melted butter
- 60 g veg oil
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 75 g Cadbury Dairy Milk
- 40 g chopped hazelnuts
- 25 g sultanas or raisins
- 250 g Cadbury Dairy Milk
- 250 g double cream
- 15 g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla

Sift together the flour, baking powder, Cadbury Bournville Cocoa and then mix in the sugar.
In another bowl whisk 2 eggs, the melted butter, buttermilk, oil and vanilla for about 5 mins.
Chop the Cadbury Dairy Milk.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Fold in the chopped Cadbury Dairy Milk, nuts and dried fruit.
Spoon into 12 large muffin cases
Bake at 180 ºC/Gas Mark 4 for around 20 mins.
For the topping. Put the cream and vanilla on the hob and gently heat until almost boiling. (Don’t let it burn).
Then pour the hot cream mixture onto the chocolate and butter. Mix until melted together and glossy.
Once the muffins are cool, spoon some of the topping and sprinkle some more fruit and chopped nuts on top. Enjoy!
